Our Story

Louise Pearson opened Finishing Touches on May 28, 1979. The original business was located in the Alberni Mall and has been in its current location on Elizabeth Street for over 35 years. Louise’s late husband, Mike, was a great support in establishing and running all the behind the scenes of the business.

The mission at Finishing Touches has always been to provide customers with the ultimate experience. Though Finishing Touches aesthetic services no longer include luxurious pedicures or manicures. We are proud to say that we have gone back to our roots. We continue to offer the best in eyebrow arching, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyelash lifting, and body hair removal, makeup artistry, all provided by  our professionally trained staff. Our team is small yet mighty and offers an unmatched experience to clients in our hygienic, ethical and welcoming environment.

With over 44 year in business, Louise continues to deliver a first-class experience with the assistance of her 5 employees who she describes as “incredible, my greatest asset, and just like family.”
